Runner
Glasswing
★★★★☆ 4.4
Glasswing is a runner for people who don't like runners. You glide a paper insect on the wind, tilting to catch updrafts, and the whole thing moves at a calm, almost hypnotic pace. There are no scores flashing at you.
It rewards patience. Fight the currents and you fall; work with them and you drift for ages, unlocking new paper worlds folded from something new each time. I played most of it with the sound off and my shoulders slowly unclenching.
It won't be for everyone — there's no adrenaline here, and some will find it dull. But as a wind-down game before sleep, nothing else on my phone comes close.
